Sales Executive
Responsibilities
- Implement approved sales programs to increase local market share
- Develop and execute approved sales and business development plans
- Achieve assigned sales targets to include revenues from new company business, an appropriate mix of buy, sell, and refinance business, and other targets
- Develop leads and actively prospect for new customers; identify and prioritize profitable business opportunities
- Actively establish and manage a business development pipeline of prospects
- Call on key personnel and decision-makers at targeted prospects to establish business relationships and obtain profitable new business
- Assess client needs and determine suitable solutions
- Develop thorough understanding of customer needs, competitor offerings, etc.; supply timely market intelligence to management
- Keep management informed of customer requirements, needs, and concerns; document and supply activity reports to management
- Maintain customer prospect and client database
- Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, and activities
- Support company-designated cross-sell efforts
- Share best practices with other salespeople and management
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to sell effectively and meet revenue objectives and other targets
- Knowledge of and ability to sell the principles of real estate and mortgage financing and of other real estate related services
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities; strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to make effective presentations
- Ability to plan and maintain an efficient schedule of customer contact, sales promotion activities, and customer support
- Ability to evaluate effectiveness of sales efforts and the associated cost versus benefit
- Ability to represent the company in a professional manner
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related degree and three or more years experience in sales or marketing, with an emphasis on developing new business relationships, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
